FairCall supports equitable participation and post-lesson reflection. It is not a grading, disciplinary, or high-stakes decision system.

Service description

FairCall is a teacher workflow tool designed to support equitable participation and post-lesson reflection. The product is not intended as a grading or high-stakes student assessment system.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, unless a signed institutional agreement states otherwise.

1. Eligibility and accounts

  • You must provide accurate account details and keep credentials secure.
  • You are responsible for all activity under your account.
  • Account sharing is not permitted unless explicitly authorized in a school agreement.

2. Permitted use

  • Use FairCall for classroom participation routines and teacher reflection.
  • Use data in line with school policy and applicable privacy law.
  • Maintain responsible handling of student identifiers and class rosters.

3. Prohibited use

  • Do not use FairCall as a sole basis for grading or disciplinary decisions.
  • Do not attempt unauthorized access, data scraping, or tenant boundary bypass.
  • Do not upload unlawful or harmful content.
  • Do not interfere with service security, availability, or integrity.

4. Data ownership and responsibilities

Teachers and schools retain ownership of their educational data. FairCall processes data only to operate and secure the service and as documented in the Privacy Policy and contractual terms.

5. Intellectual property

FairCall and related branding, software, and documentation are protected intellectual property. We grant a limited, revocable, non-transferable license to use the service in accordance with these terms.

6. Availability and changes

MVP and pilot services may evolve rapidly. We may update, modify, or discontinue features as part of product development, including reliability and compliance updates.

7. Suspension and termination

  • We may suspend access for security, abuse, or legal compliance reasons.
  • You may stop using the service at any time.
  • Account deletion controls are available within Account controls in the app.

8. Disclaimer

FairCall is provided on an "as is" basis during MVP and pilot stages. While we aim for reliability and security, uninterrupted operation is not guaranteed.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, FairCall is not liable for indirect, consequential, or special damages, including loss of profits or data. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law.
